-A signed contract is required at the start of all commissioned pieces. A 50% non refundable deposit will be required at the time of returning signed contract. We accept the following payment methods: Cash, Venmo, Zelle or GoDaddy Payment. The deposit will go towards the final price.
- All furniture must be picked up with the remaining balance due within one (1) week of completion. After one (1) week, there will be a $10.00 per day storage fee for each piece of furniture. If the remaining balance and storage fees are not paid and furniture is not picked up within thirty (30) days, client forfeits any paid deposit and Amber Juceam of Second Chances By Amber retains the right to sell, donate or dispose of furniture.
-Local furniture delivery can be arranged for an additional fee based on the distance traveled. Client will be charged per mile round trip $0.58 and an hourly rate of $80. This is for the front door or garage drop off. If you would like the furniture brought into your home there is a $20 fee per flight of stairs. Shipping totals will very with out of state customers will very depending on location.
-Second Chances By Amber is not responsible for in-transit damage when using a 3rd party shipping company. Items need to be inspected carefully and upon arrival and note any damage to the shipping company otherwise you will not be able to file a claim with them.
-SHIPPING COSTS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE
-Humidity, rain, and extreme temperatures can delay the finish drying time. We will notify you immediately if your furniture will not be in the estimated time.
-All hand-painted or stained pieces will have unique, artistic characteristics which may include brush strokes or variations in color. Vintage and refinished furniture does not turn into new furniture so expect some signs of age and character and it may not be perfect. Colors may vary from what you see on your screen due to lighting, monitor settings, and other variables.
- ALL SALES ARE FINAL. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. Custom pieces are nonrefundable. However, your satisfaction is our top priority and we will work with you to find a solution. (Not responsible for buyer’s remorse!) Please request additional pictures so you may feel comfortable with your purchase.
-If damage is discovered or additional work is needed after the work has started, we will contact you immediately and let you know if we expect the charges to be higher than the agreed upon amount.
-Once the contract is signed all design/finish decisions are final. By signing this contract you agree to all the design/finish selections in which you have made.
-Second Chances By Amber is not responsible for any damage or wear of the piece once picked up or after it has been delivered. It is the client's responsibility to care for the paint and the furniture. If you volunteer to help unload any furniture or have your kids, brother, sister, mom, dad whoever offers to help and they damage the furniture in any way during pick up or delivery we are not responsible.
-By signing the contract, the client agrees to these terms and conditions of Second Chances By Amber, as well as the quote given along with any verbal communication of additional fees for services/repairs.
